Carrie moved to Jackson in the last days of August of 1990. That year she was introduced to plein air painting and powder skiing. Shortly after she met her husband with whom she raised two free-range Wyoming boys. Carrie has worked in graphic design, decorative painting, and art education and is the founding director of JH Public Art. Carrie paints town scenes and landscapes impressionistically with a fauvist palate. She paints intuitively and with energy. Geraci earned a BA in visual arts from Brown University where she also studied printmaking and photography at Rhode Island School of Design and spent a semester studying sculpture, photography, and drawing in Florence, Italy.
